It's got people watching that have never played the games whilst appealing greatly to those who love the franchise.
Amazon's latest entry into their Prime Video service hit Number One after just 24 hours and has become a vocal talking point.
The franchise itself was in a bit of a draught since the next franchise video game entry won't be coming for a while and the only thing that was going for it was updates to the Fallout 76 multiplayer title and an upcoming next-gen update for Fallout 4, releasing April 25th.

In other recent Fallout news, the much anticipated Fallout London mod for Fallout 4 has been indefinitely delayed due to the previously mentioned Fallout 4 next-gen, reason for it being this update will no doubt cause incompatibility with the current version of the script extender of which Fallout 4 mods heavily rely on to run their mods through the video game title. Additionally Fallout London is has become so expansive that the mod itself will no longer be hosted on Nexus Mods (most Fallout 4 mods are hosted here) and talks are currently on to host the mod on Good Old Games instead.
